My Name is Vicky

I am 31 years old and married to Simon aged 34.

We have 3 boys and a girl. Aiden who is 9, Morgan who is 6, Finley who is 5 & Jasmine who is 2.

Aiden and Morgan both have Cystic Fibrosis. Aiden also has Autism and learning difficulties. Finley is a carrier of CF and Jasmine is completely CF free. (hooray)
So as you can imagine a very busy life. Aiden is a very well CF patient, he suffers with his pancreas more than his lungs. It's the Autism that interferes with his life.

We only realised that Aiden had CF because Morgan was diagnosed when he was 1 year old, after spending most of his first year of life in hospital with repeated chest infections.
This then led to Aiden being routinely tested.

Morgan is a really lively and active little boy, who doesn't let CF get in his way.
He loves trampolining and gymnastics which is really helpful as this is great physio and keeps him really fit.
Aiden on the other hand is a lot lazier. He needs a lot more encouragement to even move off the sofa. (Takes after his mum I think!)

We're a very close and happy family. The children at the moment don't fully understand their condition, although Morgan is asking more questions now, but we believe we should live life for today and enjoy every moment we spend together.
