Skillful Soccer Festival July 2008
Skilful Soccer Football held a festival weekend and was a great success and – despite the weather – helped raise a massive £842 for Cystic Fibrosis Kids. Football tournaments for the children were held, whilst fundraising went on including a bouncy castle, raffle, BBQ, Hook the Duck and the usual fete type activities. Local shops and businesses helped donate prizes. Skilful Soccer Schools coach over a thousand local children during approximately 40 hours of coaching sessions per week. They work with local Sports Partnerships and schools to provide a well-respected service in coaching football and multi sports activities to the 3 – 13 year old age range.

B and Q Collection Weekends 2007
In 2007, B and Q chose the CF Trust for their collection weekends, and in addition kindly let CFK us use their Havant & Fratton stores to do 4 collection weekends. From just those weekends we raised a massive £4010! In addition to this, they paid one their employees, Bryce Duff (Uncle to Vicky Coxhead’s CF children), to take a year off work and he ran 1000 miles and 7 continents to raise money for the CF Trust and CFK. BDML Connect Ltd (Part of the Capita Group) and The Rotary Club
This is Sarah's workplace and they have kindly paid registration fees for their employees to take part in the Rotary Club's 'Walk The Test Way' sponsored walk for 2 years now. In the last 2 years they have raised over £1700 for CFK.
There are a variety of walks for all ages and abilities through the beautiful Test Way. Sarah took along her son Liam and his friend and completed the 5 miles (although they did have a run in with some 'over friendly' cows!) See the image to the right to see Liam collecting his medal (he is the one in the middle).
If you would be interested in doing the walk for CFK in 2010, it is to be held on Sunday 10th October. Please see the Rotarys website for details or contact Sarah
